Helen Series

In a brief series of paintings inspired by Helen Frankenthaler, Eisner dabbled in the spontaneous application of paint prompted by Abstract Expressionism in the twentieth century. Eisner’s earliest series and her only experimentation with oil paint, the Helen Series sheds light into the promising beginning of her career as a painter in 1963.
